Poor build due to water ingress from a seam not sealed properly from factory

Only had this car from Oct 2020 and on the 4th November 2022 it broke down.
Electrics failure prevented the car from starting with only opening back doors and boot.
It was transported to a Skoda dealer, and this is their findings.

'' We confirmed the car would not start and that the handbrake was stuck on, and after wiring checks supported by our diagnostic computer confirmed 5 main block connectors were wet which indicated water ingress present. We then carried out water ingress tests which confirmed water ingress into the NSF area of the vehicle. Which was later confirmed to source from the seam between the NSF chassis leg and bulkhead. This has been repaired by removing the NSF wing and sealing up the seam.

We are now in a position where both sides of main engine to interior looms meet are corroded and need to be rectified. Due to cost we have advised to carry out wiring repairs, rather than replacing looms, which totals 88 individual wiring repairs and (including diagnosis and removal of carpet to allow to dry) we expect to total to £4,399.13 including VAT. However, this is an estimate as until we have stripped down fully, we are unable to know the full extent of damages.
With your authority gained, we have ordered relevant parts and will pass on any further information to you as we get it''.
We were without the car for 35 Days! A car that is just over 4 years old with 15,500 miles approx on the clock!
From the report and seeing the photo evidence I came to the conclusion that the NSF chassis leg and bulkhead being spot welded together had not been sealed properly with the sealing bond used i.e some sort of waterproof mastic?
So would i buy another SKODA or from VAG? NOT IN A MILLION YEARS!
