I'm writing this for my daughter for whom I purchased the car at the end of June. She loves it, replacing a Honda Jazz as the children grow, but we have niggles. The air conditioning is intermittent, the stop/start system has always shown a warning, and more dangerously she had a problem with the cruise control system today. Now I'm in France, she lives in the UK, so I'm not there to verify, but it seems that the car has problems. She loves driving it, the car is huge for its class (bigger boot than my C class estate for example) and the Skoda reputation is strong. Her return journey from Weymouth to Chelmsford today gave an indicated 49 mpg, which is way off the manufacturers figures too. So the jury is out so I can't give it more than three stars for the moment. More anon.
