Poor ride quality

Despite the many qualities that this car has, its biggest disadvantage is its stiff and restless suspension, which can cause health problems for sensitive people.

The main advantages: easy getting in and out of the car, a length close to the optimum of 4.5 m which is not yet too big for the city, and not too small for longer journeys and transportation. The door covers the entrance threshold so that the pants are always clean. The engine is pleasantly quiet, resilient and lively, with moderate consumption (39 MPG on average). Great for city driving, the lack of power is only felt at very low revs, and on higher ascents on the motorway when the car is fully loaded, but it doesn't diminish its value, and is not a problem. Visibility is very good, cabin spaciousness is optimal, there is room for tall people even in the rear seats.

Main drawbacks: Suspension - if the road is not perfectly level, the car is constantly jumping, which is very uncomfortable and tiresome, and can cause nausea and headache in sensitive people (like me). On patchy roads the suspension causes very unpleasant blows to the body of the passengers. After the first 10,000 miles suspension softened slightly, but the ride was still quite irritating and uncomfortable. Although, I have to admit that at higher speeds on the highway, the ride, compared to its competitors, is stable and relatively calm. At 1,700 rpm something vibrates in the engine compartment, like some plastics is shaking, and the service can't find a cause. The seats have a strange shape (IMHO) and it took me 6 months to get rid of the pain and to adjust seating position. This is probably a problem with me, but in other cars I have not had such problems. Another major drawback are the main headlights that glow like a candle, especially when it is raining or the road is wet + fog lights are missing cornering function. Sometimes I'm not sure if the main headlights are on at all. The next thing is the interior decoration, which, apart from the expensive extra charge for light skin, can only be black. In my house I don't have black walls, furniture nor floors. Why I need to feel in the car like on a funeral? The fabric on the armrest is so worn after a year that the car looks like it is 8-10 years old. The black fabric and plastics show every dirt and the maintenance is very difficult.

In short, driving in this car pretty exhausts me and kills all my driving pleasure. In fact, it irritates me so much that I am looking for some better replacement. The uncomfortable suspension spoiled an otherwise pretty good car.
