1.5 dCi Tekna 5dr Hatchback
Roomy, frugal,good ride
I cover about 21000 miles per annum, previous cars diesel Focus, Golf, Skoda Fabia, over the last 10 years. This is the comfiest and quietest so far, economy is the highest only service costs so far, currently 45,000 miles, 7000 when bought. Rear leg room is exceptional, cabin is quiet. Handling wasn't great on original Continentals, fronts only lasted 14,000 miles. Changed to Michelin cross climate, handling was transformed, rivals the Focus in my opinion and grip vastly improved, in my opinion the best grip i have had in any front wheel drive car i have owned, fronts have now covered 31000 with about 4mm left. 360 degree cameras very useful when parking and work well, speed warnings and lane guidance warnings are all useful. Seating is comfortable, i am 6ft, and fit well. Faults, no spare as standard but there is space, about £100 online,DAB radio loses signal on occasions, interior plastics are a bit cheap, but no worse than its predecessors. Overall the best hatchback i have owned to date, apart from the 206 GTI many years ago, should have kept it.
