Although somewhat quirky in looks it's high driving position makes it a very comfortable and pleasing drive.

I have to admit the TV advertising really did it's job on me. I just had to take a look and a test drive. I loved it from the start. The value for money is excellent especially if you add the premium pack. All the ipod gizmos, coupled with the rear view camera and sat nav work really well but the thing that has impressed me most are the driving modes. I really thought this was a gimmick but I was proved so wrong. In Eco mode I am averaging 37 mpg combined (approx 60/40 in favour of urban). In normal mode it behaves exactly that, like a normal car. But if you need to get away quickly, the sport mode's characteristics change so dramatically it's hard to believe it's the same car. In the recent snow I kept in Eco or normal because in sport mode it was almost too powerful in the first three gears to hold it straight, very exciting. However, it never let me down over the 4 weeks that our local roads were covered in snow and ice, and it always felt safe. O.K. the boot is not huge but there's also plenty of storage under the floor as there is no spare wheel, just a puncture repair kit. Everyone who has been in it, front or back say that it's big enough and comfortable. I love the high driving position and the seats seem very supportive. The premium pack also gets bluetooth connectivity and the Acenta and Tekna gets you cruise. The engine revs slightly too highly for me on the motorway at say 70mph, probably more noticeable to me because I had a diesel before, but it's not a huge problem and you soon get used to it. They are still a bit hard to get (Jan 10) but I opted for my local dealer's demonstrator which was only 7 weeks old and spotless with 1300 miles. It all seems nicely put together and even though the use of some hard plastics around the dashboard look and feel ever so slightly cheap they fit well and do their job adequately enough. The whole car feels much bigger inside than it looks from the outside and there are plenty of cup holders/storage pockets etc. All in all I am delighted with the car and would certainly recommend it.
