EVERY INCH OF THIS CAR EXUDES QUALITY AND REFINEMENT

I have driven many cars during my 35 years of motoring, and have driven most of those offered by the competing manufacturers, but none of them come anywhere near my latest Mondeo.
Having been won over to the Mondeo by a 2010 Econetic version that I owned from new, I just had to opt for the run-out model of the Mondeo - the Business Edition.
In my opinion, the value for money is outstanding, and no premium manufacturer can compete with its offering. Where can you buy a car with full leather trim, 8-way adjustable heated and cooled seats, satnav, climate control, park assist, heated front screen, washer jets and mirrors, keyless start, 8 speaker stereo system, sumptuous interior, cruise control, and a powerful 2.0 diesel engine, for just over £20,000?

From the moment I first drove this vehicle, I was aware of the tweaks that had been made since my 2010 version. The refinement is amazing, the cabin so quiet, and the materials used even better than before.

Whilst it isn't a BMW, I have to say that it IS to me. I think its better. Far better. Its a car that I just love to drive, and can leave it after a 400 mile journey as fresh as when I set off.

Fuel economy I must admit isn't as high as Fords advertised figure, though I will say that I regularly achieve around 60mpg on motorway driving. That is more than adequate for me. I can easily achieve 900 miles from a tank of fuel.

A beautiful car in so many ways.
