Edge 1.4 TDCi 5dr Hatchback

Very good all round, reliable, have some known issues been put right in the updated version?

To add to my first review and having now covered 40000 miles I thought I would add to the 'What to watch out for' .
1) fuel consumption is still averaging around 56mpg, the claimed 68mpg is wishful thinking. I do mainly dual carriage way driving and think anything over 60mph drastically reduces mpg.
2) Reverse gear can be difficult to select.
3) The steering column develops a clunk which is solved by lubricating the bottom of the column inside the car. Know problem done foc when requested.
4) The electric boot lid switch fails and randomly undoes the latch. Known fault replaced foc .
5)Take care when jacking the rear wheels, the car is light and skates across on the jack. Chock the opposite side wheel.
6) Cloth seat material is showing signs of wear.
Little problems I know and on the whole 100% reliable with no major problems or expense .
