A lot of car for the money

I'm pretty happy with mine, and haven't yet suffered from others' 'Citroen' reliability issues. My only surprise was a failed aircon condenser, which was punctured. I think that could be simply unlucky since the design keeps the unit well back under the bonnet, relative to many anyway. It's definitely a cruiser rather than a B-road racer, although the firm suspension setting can be used when preferred. The auto gearbox seems fine, and doesn't jump around and is well suited to the powerful engine. I enojy the seat massager, seat heater on occasion, and the electronic adjustment, which can help on long journeys. I'd have preferred higher profile tyres - mine are 245/45/R18, and they're expensive - near £1,000 for 4 new ones, Bridestone Turanzas, which are great if you've got the money. Although I agree the dash is cluttered, familiarity makes it easier, and the audio stuff, fog lights, electronic handbrake, various mpg/sat nav/cruise/speed limiter all come in useful on occasion. I like the 'jukebox' system for the audio, but do wish the French could bother to buy in the UK postcodes to use in their satnavs. It does work well, but it's a fag to load up road names compared to postcodes. I concur with one about the water ingress when opening the boot in the wet, but again, a minor issue in return for having such a good looking back end and concave rear window. The car looks great from all angles and mine, now worth about £5,500, would be a bargain IMHO, but I'm not selling!
