1.6 blue hdi
Big enough for my use
I like diesel Citroens, started with the excellent 2.0 zsara picasso, then 1.6 c4 picasso which started wanting too much money spending and moved to a this c3 picasso blue hdi. It only gets occasional use now I'm on my own but for all there is the constant tyre noise and growling from the mechanicals felt through the pedals it is reliable, but varying extremes of temperature can throw up false warnings for tyre pressures,ABS braking & servicing. It is a car that gives best economy on the motorway but local running sees 53 mpg regularly, steering is typical constant minor adjustments on straight roads, something I found on most of my Citroens.
This 2017 model with the Euro 6 diesel is, for some reason zero road tax each year which makes me want to keep it as long as possible though I still wish I had the original Zsara Picasso, an absolutely superb motor
