A load of r******

What a disappointment, do not believe all the media hype regrding it being a 'space-box' or 'Tardis', its pokey with very little storage space, if you, like myself, are changing from the excellent Xsara Picasso then prepare for a shock unless you are intentionally downsizing, they are chalk and cheese, internally there is a lot less room for both passengers and luggage, access is not as easy as the sills seem wider and seats a bit closer together, dash storage is nonexistant comprising indentations they call shelves that empty at the first ccorner, glove compartment a complete joke, a single armrest on the unsupportive drivers seat that is unuseable by the passenger. In their wisedom Citroen have incorporated two useless items; a plug in air freshener, £12 a time to replace and a pull down rearview passenger mirror, to their credit improvement to the instruments make the speedo easy to read in bright sunlight combine with a redesigned non-reflective dash.
The spare wheel has been brought inside the boot instead of under it, now a space-saver type with limited speed and mileage, lesser specs get an aerosol instead, bad move with either, heard reports of rain settling ontop of the doors and showering occupants when the door is opened though not, as yet, experienced it myself. Shorter body brings engine further back and is noticeable by drone when motoring. Alloy wheels and low prifile tyres give a harsh ride on bad roads combined with a stiff suspension found myself gritting my teeth at road humps and pot holes, although this stops too much body roll on corners.
To its credit Citroen has produced a car that is cheap to tax, £35 PA, decent fuel economy and good forward vision though rear window is no more than a letterbox.
Not a car that I would recommend and dont think it will have the following or the long production run of its predecessor
