Growing on me after 6K miles but still miss my 3 series for room

After 9 months and 6k miles this car has slowly grown on me, but I still miss the room, quietness and road holding of my E90 3 series saloon.

Road noise is a problem that is I suspect is caused by Pirelli run flats. Always used Continental run flats on my E90 3 series and will switch to these when Pirelli's need changing. Now having issues with creaking from rubber door and window seals. Booked into the dealers, as it is very annoying at low speed on uneven surfaces. Worse in slow stop start traffic when body is flexing. If you check the forum's seems its a fairly common problem, but never had it on my two previous 3 series. On a long run getting 45 - 50 mpg and like others have said, never use eco pro mode as its like driving through treacle. Mostly use comfort or sport modes. There is wind noise over 70 mph and car is generally noisy due to not so smooth and throaty 4 cylinder turbo engine. Without the 8 speed auto I might have changed the car by now.

This car needs xenon or LED headlights as standard fitting. Tried fitting Phillips extreme halogen bulbs to overcome poor headlights, but not a great deal better. Make sure you order Xenons.
I am not sure if I will keep the car long-term as finding it a bit small for a single car family. Compact boot and rear passenger legroom / space is proving a problem. Not the best BMW they make.
