Comfortable Cruiser

I bought this car new in March 2015 to replace a Citroen DS3. My commute to work went from 10 miles to 50 miles a day and the hard ride of the DS3 DSport was affecting my back. I ended up getting a great deal from the local BMW dealer though the handover experience was very disappointing. The car itself? The 118d version is the best blend of performance and economy - so far the average MPG is better than the Citroen. I test drove the 116d and found it sluggish. I paid extra for the drivers pack (servotronic steering, cruise control and rear parking sensors) and for the servicing pack. The different driving modes come in useful - I tend to drive in Comfort mode then use the Eco Pro mode in heavy traffic / built up areas. The sport mode might get turned on occasionally on open roads... The car is comfortable and good fun to drive - it is almost as good to chuck into corners as my mk1 Focus was. The gear change is precise and slick. Criticisms? The iDrive takes some getting used to and BMW's are expensive vehicles and some of the optional equipment should be standard based on the price of the vehicle.
