My daughter has 15 years accident free driving on my policy, but zero NCD - will insurers take this into account?

My daughter is 32 years old and has been a named driver on my policies since she was 17. She has had 15 years of accident free driving, but this does not seem to matter when looking at quotes as I always have to put 0 years NCD. Can you recommend an insurance company that might take this into consideration? I'm buying a new car and am giving her my 2007 Ford Fiesta (worth, at most, £1200). I've had a few quotes which I consider to be high for that car.

It sounds like you're using price comparison sites. In your specific situation, contact insurers or a broker directly to see if they will take her driving history into consideration. Most of the larger insurers will take her history into consideration. Alternatively, try to get a multi-car policy, like Admiral's, which allows you to add cars to a policy and will allow her to use your no claims.
