My premium increased by £700 for a no-fault accident - can I claim this from the other insurer?

My wife's car was hit by another driver while she was stationary. Our insurance premiums have gone up just over £100 for both our cars, plus £500 for our crew cab pick (work vehicle). Do I have a case to claim against the other party's insurance for the increases? I don't understand how it ends up costing us over £700 extra per year because of accident that wasn't our fault.

Yes you can claim this increase from the other party's insurer. You'll be advised that you cannot, but that's because solicitors are not used to claiming it back. You need to contact your legal assistance provider, or a solicitor, for 'uninsured loss recovery' and claim for the next five years. I think it's a scam that insurers penalise you for an incident that isn't your fault, and then not expect you to claim it back from the at fault party.
