Can I return my car for a full refund?
I bought a Mercedes GLE 350 AMG unseen for £20,000 + £200 delivery. I discovered numerous faults and the dealer agreed to put matters right and returned the car a week later. Non-folding mirror was replaced together with the working mirror with smaller non Mercedes part. The dipstick was wrong for the car and oil sprayed all over engine bay. Second key supplied with the car was not the correct key for this car. Can I return the car for full refund on grounds that non genuine Mercedes parts have been fitted .

You can read our guide to rejecting a vehicle here - www.honestjohn.co.uk/faq/consumer-rights/ but the key part in your situation is on what grounds it could be rejected. It could be argued that the car was not as described if non-Mercedes parts were used and if it still has faults then it could also be considered not of sufficient quality.
