Can you still get comprehensive insurance that covers you to drive any vehicle?
When you take out fully comprehensive insurance you used to be covered to drive any other vehicle. Why and when did it change?

Third party cover to drive a vehicle with the owner's permission is a policy feature that is still offered by many insurance companies but not all, so if this is something you want to take advantage of we would suggest confirming with the insurance provider before taking out a new policy.
