Should I buy a hybrid or an EV?
I’m looking to change my car and considering a Lexus LBX and VW ID3. However I only do 4000 miles pa so which of these cars will be best suited to such a low mileage?

With a very low mileage such as this, we would suggest an EV would be the better choice, as they are less affected by frequent short journeys and longer periods of being parked up than ICE and hybrid vehicles. However it would still be important to consider the health of the drive battery, so we would recommend following the manufacturer's guidance when it comes to what charge level to use if the vehicle will not be used for an extended period - typically this is 80% charge or less.
