C-Max - Low grinding noise from steering 2 Jul 2007 (Forum)
My 1 year old C-Max has started making a low grinding noise when steering left or right. You only really notice it when driving slowly, as it's not that loud. It's particually noticable when reversing off my driveway, because it's a slope, and I don't use much throttle to get off. -

Shocked when my I went to see my 18 year old son and he had converted his Nova GTE back from Max Power spec (neons, bad boy bonnet etc, etc) to completely standard. He said that his mates are doing the same and standard cars are now "back in". Could it be true? I find it difficult to think of this fashion, if that is what it is, reaching its logical conclusion and young kids are all driving around in immaculate standard cars, wearing brogues and sweaters. -

I mainly drive around town so a 1.6-1.8 petrol would be ideal and it must be a 5dr. I have my Civic to trade in plus around £5-5.5k loan or £165 max monthly payment. My rover 25 loses coolant sometimes. I filled it up to max using ready mixed coolant and the next day it was down to minimum overnight it disappeared.
