Hi, Wonder if anyone can help, Im loosing it. My EML light came on last April `09, independent garage changed ignition coil - genuine Ford part. Fault developed again in Jan this year, they advised me to take it to Ford Garage then they replaced the coil pack, paid for spark plugs. End of March fault developed again, they replaced the coil pack once again and advised the fault happened because the sparks has not been changed previously. -

the heating on my 5 series (S reg) has just packed up. I think it might be that the fans have failed as even on max I cannot get any airflow from the fans except on front windscreen demister, and even then it is cold The question is, does anyone know if this is likely to be an expensive repair job, or could it be quite simple? -

Anyone tried a Focus C-MAX TDCI CVT? I was just looking on the Ford website - http://www.ford.co.uk - at details of the Focus C-Max. One of the variants listed is the "1.6 16V Duratorq TDCi, Durashift CVT" -- see http://www.fordconnection.com//FordEuropeMultimedia/GBR_EN/002/cmax_specs.html A diesel with a CVT sounds to me like a very nice idea -- diesel economy, and a smooth automatic, without much of a dent on performance. -
Ford Focus mki 1.6 - C O Emissions 22 Jan 2012 (Forum)
My MOT is due soon but i am concerned because although my car passed last time, the fast idle C O emission was 0.2% which is top of the limit allowed. The natural idle test was well in at 0.04% (0.3% is the max limit) The Lambda value was1.014 (0.97-1.03 range allowed) Any suggestions how i can improve my fast idle emissions please? -

hi room, recently developed a sort of whirring , drone noise at about 3500 revs, not speed related cause it does it thru the gears also a slight vibration felt , doesny appear to do it whilst stationary, mk 3 fiesta with 130000 mls on the clock, oil is at max and the wheel bearing are all sound , wonder what it can be, ideas thanks mj -
