Ford C-MAX (2003 - 2010) - Any views/opinions please? 3 Sep 2008 (Forum)
Hi all, I have been thinking about buying a Toyota Verso 1.8 petrol and, with all the rise in fuel and VED, I am begining to look around for an alternative. The other car which I am considering is the Ford C-Max. I had a quick sit in one in Motorpoint a few weeks ago and, partly because I was not really aware of the car and so my mind was 'set' against one plus I find the way I had to wrap my legs on either side of the large steering wheel column in a strange way, I admittedly did dismiss it. -
Recommendations for BIG but economical estate pls. 7 Jan 2011 (Forum)
Whole family is very tall. I'm 6'5", daughters are both 6'-ish and have long legs. We use most of the S-Max boot space when doing trips here & there so need to have a good amount of room. When I bought the S-Max last year I did the test of "sitting behind myself" by setting the driving seat to a comfortable position and then getting into the passenger seat behind. -

Ford C-MAX - Is there a cure for misting Ford headlights 28 Mar 2015 (Forum)
I recently bought a one year old Ford Cmax Titanium X from my local Ford dealership and have been unable to resolve a problem of misting headlights. They mist up after a run if the car is parked in rain or is washed, or it’s a cold day. -
Why is there water ingress in the boot of my Ford C-MAX? 30 Jan 2017 (Ask HJ)

Ford C-MAX - Ding'ed by neighbour, what to tell insurer... 7 Jan 2013 (Forum)
Hi folks, One of my neighbours backed into my C-max when parking his truck last night, leaving the inevitable dent and loss of paint. He's wanting to get the repairs done without going through the insurance as the repair will probably be within the excess amount on his policy (obviously I'll be getting quotes first) and in theory I've no issues with that as it'll probably get sorted quicker than waiting for the insurers to sort things out. -
Ford C-MAX TDCi - Cleaning up after diesel leak in engine 23 May 2011 (Forum)
I wasn't happy yesterday to find my newly serviced and MOT'd C-Max leaking diesel all over my drive. Took it back to the small independent garage that serviced it and they found one of the nuts securing the injector pipes was loose. They tightened it up and that seems to have stopped the leak. -
Ford C-Max CVT - How to check the auto transmission fluid level? 26 May 2010 (Forum)
Honest John's car-by-car guide states: BY 2010, FAILURES OF CVTs WITH 1.6TDCIS HAD REACHED EPIDEMIC PROPORTIONS and the cost of replacement at around £5,000 is greater than the value of the car. For that reason DO NOT BUY A C-MAX 1,6TDCI CVT AUTO. If you already own one, it seems that one reason for failure may be overfilling of the special automatic transmission fluid, so check this carefully and if necessary have some drained from it. -

I would be grateful if anyone could help- 1) How can I get the door panel off 2) My suspicion is that the electric window motor is burnt out - how likely is that 3) Is this a common fault with the C-Max? Any help much appreciated. -
Ford C-MAX (2003 - 2010) - 06 1.8 Dealer recommends engine flush for 3rd serv 9 May 2009 (Forum)
My 1.8 TDCi C-Max is due its 3rd service soon, and the dealer's recommended an engine oil flush and an exhaust flush. They're so desperate they're offering me a 20% discount on the whole service if I have the flush, which works out about £20 cheaper overall with the flush cost included. -
Ford C-MAX (2003 - 2010) - 04 Zetec, Steering Assist Failure 16 Dec 2008 (Forum)
Hi Guys, I have an 04 plate C-Max Zetec I hope you can give me some pointers because I have no idea... Yesterday morning I had to drive through some rather deep water (up to about the wheel-arches) on my way home. Got through and apart from a little spluttering immediately afterwards all seemed okay. -
