  Great weather and high attendance helped 70% of lots to sell for a total of £3.08 million at Historics Spring 2016 Brooklands auction. Highest over-estimate was the ex-Ronnie Peterson 1972 Lotus +2 S that sold for £72,800 while a 2003 BMW Z3M sold for a potential world record breaking £51,250.   A 1967 Ferrari 275 GTB/4*S NART Spider smashed auction records over the weekend, to sell for $27,500,000 (£17,593,000) - making it the most expensive road car, and second most valuable car - to be sold at auction. The car topped RM Auctions' two-day sale at Monterey, underlining the Canadian company's position in the premier league of the world's top auction houses.
