  Hi all, so last week had my factory fitted ford radio on then turned it off and couple hours later turned back on and..... It didn't work as in the preset channels nothing and won't tune in. So without doing anything it went from working to not working??

  There's an ad on LBC (and presumably other radio stations) with what sounds like a Rally navigator but turns out to be school run Mum dropping the brat off. The pace notes tell you to "mind the leaves" and "watch for puddle" - why? Can't the Audi's "legendary" 4WD system cope with a puddle and a few leaves?

  I lkknow lots of people have commente on here about the Adli car radio Cd - i just wnat the model number please!  Am having to send myine back due an error and have already packed it up so cant see the model number!   Can antyone help me ?  May be 4733 ish?

  The factory fitted radio in the Peugeot 206 car was on then stopped working. Later I tried to switch it on and it started working again. Again it stopped while it was on. At first I thought the fuse had gone, but it wouldn't have started again if that had been the case.

  I'm looking to add a sub woofer to a 5000 Radio/cassette/cd changer. Looking at the back of the unit there is not the usual phono line outs but a couple of unconnected sockets. Does anyone know if any of the unused pins offer a line out or where to find the pinouts for he sockets.

  Following on from last postings had the car fixed, the battery was re charge. This made me lose the use of my radio. Does anybody know the factory code for a peugeot 306 1.4 lx 2000 w reg. Or know where i can get it de-coded cheaply. For all those who suggested an earth fault you were correct and thank you.

  After 2 months (woo hoo!) trouble free hi-fi use, the original radio in my '99 306 HDi stopped working, showing 'phone' in the display. Turning it off then back on had no affect, likewise trying anything else. Eventually, the tuner worked again after inserting a tape then ejecting it.

  I have a sc-700 volvo factory radio cass.. I want to get a single cd player radio.Volvo do one of these and will charge about £250 , the model is an sc-803 I think. Anyone got one of thses and if so could you tell me the RMS output and if its any goog or what have other 850 owners done to improve the quality?

  I have a problem which has been mentioned before but i cannot seem to fix. I changed battery in 1993 306 and the radio reset asking for a code, i randomly put numbers too many times and it locked it out. Another thread says press the ~ button but i dont think i have this on my radio, my radio model is 3030 with cassette player.

  The radio on my E39 2001Y Touring has not been working for about two years - it hisses and crackles and you only rarely get anys sort of reception and then only for local radio. I took it to the local specialist, who could not see anything wrong and advised me to go to a BMW dealer.

  A quick search on the Forum shows this has not been discussed before. There was a piece on the Jeremy Vine Show on Radio 2 today of an urban myth that the chips fitted to the Ford 5000 car radio can be adapted and fitted to a Freeview box so it can unscramble the Sky tv signals. This is causing large number of Ford cars, mainly Focus models, to be broken into.

  My dad wanted to put his Alpine CD player into his new Rover 75. We pulled out the old radio and saw it would need a harness adaptor, so we ordered one off the internet that also promised to provide stalk control support if the radio was ready for it. Sure enough, we checked the back of the radio and it had a jack plug for the remote control.

  for some three years I've been using a Sony cd unit, having taken out the standard factory fitted Philips radio cassette. As I'm now selling the car I've just refitted the factory fit unit which was working fine when removed, but guess what It won't work now. I have the code ready but the remote digital dash display in top centre of dasboard is not working to see the codes, the radio appears to power up with a slight noise at the speakers when pressing the power on button.

  Last week some so-called builders supposed to be extending the house next door-but-one had a radio turned up full volume as they were messing about at the far end of the garden 25 yards away. I went round and asked why they were inflicting this noise on local residents, the answer was "we're working".

  As my son gave me a Haynes manual for Christmas, it states within this that removing the battery will lead to losing the radio code. There's nothing within the hand book that states this & l can't find any recorded radio code in the documentation.There is a receipt for a new battery in 2013, so it will be coming to the end of its life.
