Citroen Berlingo / Peugeot Partner - Future-proof road tax uk 26 Sep 2020 (Forum)
In the near future Im looking at upgrading my current seat ibiza (1.2 petrol) for a peugeot partner or citroen berlingo to use as a daily driver, occasional campervan and all round workhorse My budget is fairly tight at a max of around £8k Ideal specs are < 50k miles, newer than 2010 For around 6-8k Ive found a lot of 2011 - 2014 - 1.6 HDI diesel models with road tax around £145 Compared to this around 8-10k I can get 2016 - 2019 blueHDI models with £30 and lower road tax My question is: How likely is it that that standard HDI models will increase from £145 a yr tax (given the imminent rise of EV cars, restrictions on diesel / petrol etc). -
Citroen cx - Paint and carburettor 10 Dec 2019 (Forum)
Hi all I have two points of interest at the moment with my “project” also known as my labour of love! Bit of background- working on restoring my old Citroen cx. Work in progress and cash has gotten tight. So the bodywork is dire. Needs a complete respray and some coaschworks. Currently saving to do this but it’ll be several thousand. So how do I protect the metal in the meantime (someone has already rubbed it down and there is some surface rust) I was thinking the cost effective way is to give it a lick of Matt black until it gets the paint job it deserves? -

Citroen C Crosser 2.2HDi - Diesel additives? which one and how often 3 May 2015 (Forum)
Hi, My Citroen spluttered to a halt on the Mortoway last week, lost all power and ECU warning light. I limped the car along to nearby family member and called Green Flag. During that journey, the power seemed to recover but the ECU warning stayed on; Green Flag checked the codes which seemed to indicate a fuel leak, but then went on to check the car very very thoroughly.
