What is "High Mileage" 15 Feb 2006 (Forum)
I'm considering an 03 Octavia TDi with 127,500 miles on the clock. Am I being silly? It does seem a lot of miles for a 3 year old car, but if its been well maintained and looked after then why shouldn't it be OK? Any ideas/comments? -

S-Type Servicing 13 Aug 2003 (Forum)
Can any S-type owners out there give me a 'realistic' idea of the cost of running one of these fine motor cars please? The one I am on the verge of purchasing is an 18 month old, 31000 mile specimen. Any advice is most welcome (sarcastic or not!) -

More High Mileage Questions 20 Oct 2001 (Forum)

Do I need to legally disclose an engine rebuild 7 Jul 2014 (Forum)
Hi, I was wondering if anyone could tell me if I am legally required to disclose an engine rebuild that was carried out under warranty if selling my car to a garage? The car has since had a couple of services and has had no problems since, it's not been in an accident and is only 2years old. -

Renault Laguna 3 - Laguna 3 estate boot panels 11 Oct 2010 (Forum)
The removable right side boot panel in my car seems to have lost the ability to close the catch and stay in place. I can see no obvious way of accessing the fixings on it and wondered if this was a replacement part. The car is less than 3 years old - would this be covered on warranty? -

C5 coolant change 26 Nov 2004 (Forum)
The maintenance schedule is not easy to understand and I have yet to find any mention of actually changing the coolant in this car. I checked the coolant level recently and, whilst the level is OK, the colour is a dirty brown, which doesn't look right to me. The car is just over 3 years old. -

Drivers legroom 11 Mar 2001 (Forum)
I am 6ft 5ins tall and am trying to find a car with enough legroom. My old Cavalier is Ok as it does not have a foot rest by the clutch pedal. All new cars tried so far ALL have these footrests which restricts the way I can stretch my left leg out. -
SEAT Altea XL 2011 - V5C name doesn't match(old one?) 20 Apr 2020 (Forum)
I read somewhere online that if the name on the V5C doesn't match the one of the seller I should phone the police. It does match to the seller of the old ad - I did message that guy and told him I had his car(same licence plate) and asking him if it was stolen or just resold. No reply yet, and I did pay via bank transfer so have quite a bit of the seller's details, so I assume they didn't steal the car.
