  Unfortunately there is now a crack on the windscreen large enough to require  the whole screen replacing. Honda UK will not help me, beyond supplying a part number. I am enquiring about importing a new screen from Japan (I did successfully  import a door mirror last year) but I have heard something about a glass company in the UK that makes bespoke screens. Has anyone any experience of this service please?

  Has any one had any recent experience of Renault Scenics imported from Cyprus and their specs compared to uk. I am in the market for a Renault Scenic 1.9dci 120 dynamique and am looking at Motorpoint in Derby who import these cars from Cyprus (new delivery miles).

  I am hoping that export plate registration does not matter, and that given that it is a new car, it is the date of physical import, or paying of VAT, that matters. Many thanks.

The salesman said that the ECUs of imports needed to be translated by the diagnostics machine, adding delays and extra costs to the servicing. The salesman also said that the value of imports would be thousands less than a UK-sourced Ka.
