  There is nothing in the handbook and as far as I can see no alignment markings on the headlight itself. Citroen do a kit of sorts but it is expensive at £40 approx and not very practical either. David

  Need a new Estate as got 2 kids and a dog and seems a good deal at Auction at the moment seems to be Citroen C5 estates, say the 2.2 LX litre HDI ones. Wondered if anyone has any opinions on them - are they any good? Scott

  The windscreen on a friend's P-reg Citroen ZX has cracked in the same place for the third time in a year. Replacements have been fitted by Autoglass. Presumably its a structural flexing problem, but does anyone have any better ideas or experience of the same problem?

  Great write up HJ. I have to confess it's the first modern Citroen I actually want. I am sure it will do fantastically well and deserves to against the cynically dull new focus. The new C6 looks fantastic too, but will still flop in the UK.

  Has anyone had any experience of owning a Citroen Multispace? I had a test drive of one last week (2 litre HDI)and was mightily impressed with the amount of room inside, the comfort and the way it drove - by the way,I know it's based upon a van!

  Just received a mail from a contact who asks if I've head about this... "a Citroen recall 'to replace certain components of the valve timing mechanism. The operation is considered essential and the vehicle will be required for a maximum of two days" I hadn't, any ideas? C3 16V Diesel.

  Family friend has the following problem - pasted from their email. 2004 Citroen Berlingo diesel 1995 cc HDI 20,000 miles has once blown the oil filler cap off, and repeatedly partly blows the dip stick out of its socket, suggesting build up of crankcase pressure. Citroen service deny there is a problem and maintain I am not replacing the dip stick correctly.

  My local franchise dealer says that it is caused by deformed rear axle(s) and is a known problem with C5s (yet another one !). They have applied to Citroen to relace the axle(s) under warranty and have also asked Citroen to cover the cost of replacement tyres. Does anyone know about this problem ? citmad
