  Hi there, I've recently bought a 2006 Nissan Note from a used car dealer and have unfortunately discovered I may not have checked it over well enough. There is what I would call excessive movement in at least the drivers side engine mount. This movement is enough that I can feel and hear it in the car, especially when setting off.

  I'm new to the forum. I have just bought a 1995 Mitsuoka Viewt, which is basically a Nissan Micra with a mk 2 Jag front and rear end. All was working fine until I took a look at the wiring for the rear lights, as I wanted to fit a high level brake light. I didn't unplug anything, but after removing the trim to get to the wiring, the car has developed a fault.

  Can a Leaf do 12kmiles per year if I buy it with a 50kmiles old battery? After the AZ debacle seems that Nissan says 10kmiles is the upper yearly limit. I'd get a Leaf just because I can charge it for free, so within 3 years it pays for itself. If the Leaf isn't OK I hesitate between a Mondeo 2.0TDCi and a Lexus IS250 automatic.

  Now, having NEVER had to use winter tyres, is it worth me splashing out £550 for 8 winter tyres (4 for the Focus) and 4 for the Nissan. Are they are drastic improvment over standard tyres?  My uncle used to rotate his "summer" and "winter" tyres every year and swore by them.... I do live on a pretty steep hill, so would love the backroomers as always great advice.

  Hi, If anyone can advise what my consumer rights I have it would be much appreciated. Basically purchased a Nissan X Trail from a dealer, the car is 10 years old.  Came with 3 month warranty but only up to a value of £1000. Literally 2 weeks to the day of picking up the car the cam chain broke whilst on the A34.

  I went to a new garage just started in a barn, close by, and the two young owners said they had both come from the local main Nissan agent. So towed the Micra there. After a couple of weeks they too were stumped. I suggested a guaranteed Reman replacement throttle body. They put this on today and it still will not run HELP Please.
