  I have a 2006 Citroen C3 that I like very much - it's been brilliant since I bought it 5 years ago and needed no repairs until it broke down this week in France with a broken clutch. I'm being quoted 950 euros for the clutch to be repaired there, which is about £800.

  I went to see a  Citroen C5 diesel estate for sale. Its only 2 owners and 89000 miles,which seems ok. The problem was when I went for a test drive ,it didnt have the power I expected when pressing the accelerator. I have the same model just now, so I know they are not the quickest!

  Hi  I started my citroen xantia P reg estate out side my house about 3 weeks ago and it started no problem. Stopped outside the surgery started no problem. Parked in supermarket car park in the shop about an hour came out and there was no power in the battery at all completely dead had a jump start got home checked the car about 15 min later dead again.

  Has anyone experienced this and how much did a repair set you back? The car does have a 12 month Citroen Select used car warranty (it's an 06 reg and I bought it last July) - will this problem be covered in that? Thank you

  I previously had a citroen xsara and there was a slight high pitch whine when you put the foot on the accelerator, but never had any problems and didn't work out what it was. I have test driven a citroen c4 2.0 top oof the range today and I can hear the same whine between 40-60mph, what could it be?

  Have read threads about fuel consumption on 2.0 Mondeo Diesels affected by DPF. Can anyone quote comparitive figures for a Citroen Xsara Picasso 1.6 (110bhp) with and without DPF (Citroen call it FAP). Any other problems with picasso's with DPF.? I am experiencing a 10% increase in fuel with my newest XPic. Neither the dealer or Citroen will investegate, and carry out proper tests to see if the problem lies in tolerance stacking or was i mis-sold this car as i was never advised about the effects of DPF on fuel consumption.

  Hi All We have just bought a Citroen AX diesel as a runabout and so far its been brilliant. I've only filled it up once, done 200 miles so far and the fuel gauge is still on 3 quarters. The car had no radio and I've bought a Citroen one for it.
