  My daughter has just bought a new Mazda 3 1.6TS saloon, and I am most impressed by the quality of engineering. At tick-over the engine is almost inaudible with no mechanical noise whatsoever, - the only engine that I have ever heard as quiet was on a Lexus LS430.
