  I don't know if there is a law regarding driveway.I bought a house which got driveway on it,now my new neighboors live beside me don't have a driveway and have a big bush covering their front house .If I go out using my car,,he uses our driveway to get into their front to park his car.The annoying thing is when I got back and park my car infront of our house or our driveway. The neighboors disturb us and tell us to move our car for him to get out from their front as they don't have a driveway.

It has been suggested that some tapes can absorb enough heat to crack the glass or melt the acrylic on some newer headlamps.   Whilst rebuilding an escort gearbox I appear to be unable to fit a replacement 5th gear onto the splined shaft. I tried loads of heat and lots of pressure but it refuses to go all the way on, I know they are tight but this is solid any ideas Regards Peter.

  The only other things I can think of are that the radiator is no good, but it gets very hot all over it's surface and must therefore by definition be 'radiating' heat. The coolant temperature sensor is faulty - although it accurately reflects warm up temps and it is possible to 'see' when the thermostat opens. Is there any way of measuring cooling system flow rate?

  The next day I took it to get a new spring fitted (I know I should have got the 2 done) but I only got the 1 side done. Since then, there is a strange noise coming from the front of the car, it only happens when there is 1 person in the car, if there are 2 people in the car it doesnt do it. With hindsight I realise I should definatley have got both front springs replaced and i,m presuming / hoping that this is whats causing the strange creaking / rumbling noise.
