HRDC All MG Racing at Mallory 4th June 26 May 2012 (News)
With 16 MGBs already on the Mallory grid and the unique opportunity to race in live Motors TV format, with a viewing audience watching from 39 countries in five languages, the decision was taken to offer the remaining grid laces to MGs which are now very rarely seen together on any historic grid. Historic race ace, Shaun Rainford will take the Motors TV on-board camera for a close-up of this race in his rare MG1100, pairing up with Steve Atkinson in his similar MG1100 'Madge' . Keeping the dynamic MG1100 duo company will be a venerable quartet of MG Z-Series Magnettes: Bruce Chapman in his ZA 'Fanny 1', Richard Dodkins in his earlier ZA 'Fanny 2', Graham Bryant in his immaculately restored ex-Roger Andreason ZA 'Sambo'; and Julius Thurgood in yet another famous ex-Andreason Magnette ZA - 'Bumble'. -

New FIAT Bravo Tour Special 15 Jun 2009 (News)
Starting on 26 June, teams consisting of two MSN users and an MSN selected journalist will drive their own routes, equipped with a digital video camera and other communications tools. They must report on their tour, solve given tasks along the route, visit places nominated by MSN users and broadcast their tour experience on MSN. All the teams will end their tour with a final event at Fiat Group’s Balocco private test facility. -
Are Men or Women Better Drivers? 11 Jul 2008 (News)
BMW owners are deemed to be the worst drivers on the UK’s roads according to a massive 45% of respondents, followed by Subaru drivers (23%), Mercedes-Benz drivers (22%), Land Rover drivers (20%) and Porsche drivers (18%), with ‘Sunday drivers’ classed as the worst type of driver, followed by ‘rush-hour drivers’ (46%). ITV’s Police, Camera, Action! Programme (7th July 2008) recently asked motorists from five different stereotypes to retake the current driving test, as judged by the former chief driving instructor for Great Britain. Shockingly, the white van driver, OAP, school run mum, boy racer and a sales rep all failed the test. -

Report: Peking to Paris, day seven 3 Jun 2013 (News)
Car 80, the blue Ford Mustang convertible (below), had two tyres blow out at the same time, causing the car to swerve and get buried in a soft bank of dirt. A tow out from a camera-crew and a tyre change from the Sweeps Rob Dominy and Bob Harris soon had the car running again. The little blue Renault 4 stayed in Bulgan this morning, and could be there some time as the crew are now waiting for parts to fix the gearbox. -

Taxpayers’ money has been wasted on publicity, signage and cameras to catch just a handful of older, more polluting trucks. The cost of finding this out has been about £50 million in set up costs and a further £10 million in annual running costs. At least now the damage has been limited and we can start to look at more intelligent ways of reducing emissions in the capital without more companies being put out of business.
