  The wife has a N reg citroen synergie 2.0 petrol recently its started to idle fast when cold i have been told by citroen it could be the idle stepper motor needs a clean or replacing does anyone know where i will find this in the engine or even any other sugestion to what the prob could be.

  I've been given some Citroen AX alloys from a friend who used to have a GT model. Can I fit them on my standard AX? The new wheels are 155R14 and the ones on my car are 155R13 I'm not sure what this means? Citroen have this odd suspension so I think if the wheels are bigger it may not fit on the hub.

  The clutch is seemingly about to go for the second time on my R reg pre-registered Citroen Synergie. The first one went a little after one year -- a few weeks after the warranty expired. Citroen UK were extremely unhelpful and grudgingly made a small payment after an inordinate amount of fuss on my part.

  This will seem like a bit of a rant but please consider very carefully prior to purchasing a new Citroen. My 2009(MY) C5 has had three manufacturer recalls and returns for warranty repairs well into double figures. The car has done about 25000miles.  Citroen UK after an initial Gesture of Goodwill when the vehicle was less than 1 year old have been nothing but obstructive and recent correspondence has seemed to be  deliberately obtuse, not directly addresssing my ongoing issues.

  Looking at buying a secondhand C5. Citroen main dealer quotes a PARTICLE FILTER SERVICE every 50,000 miles at a cost of GBP 890. I found an `emulator/bypass device` advertised on eBay and wondered if anyone has experience trying similar and how it works.

  My wife's 2001 Citroen Saxo 1.4 Desire has just been serviced and the local Citroen dealer says that the car is not fit to drive as it has severely worn rear axle beam bushes and the rear wheels are rubbing on the inner wheel arches.

  good evening first post so please bear with me, i have a citroen c3 2008  that the central locking, interior light and time/date have all stopped working (time/date just keep re-setting to zero). i am pretty sure the fuse is blow but would like to know what fuse it is and which fuse box ie glovebox(i think) or engine bay, i have had a quick look and cant see a blown fuse in glove box but would just like to know which one         THANKS

  I have just seen on the RTE website in Ireland, that the Irish Motoring Writers Association has just crowned the Citroen C5 "Semperit Irish Car of the Year 2009". (last year's winner was the Ford Mondeo). The Ford Fiesta was awarded "Semperit Irish small Family Car of the Year 2009". The overall winner was chosen from the category winners.

  The previous owner only had one key and the car is fitted with an immobiliser. I have the key number, so i am able to purchase another key from Citroen. However, I am told it then has to be reprogrammed which can only be done by Citroen, cost for a spare key in total £100+VAT. I know i will have to buy the key from Citroen but does anyone know if the it is only the dealer who can programme the key, or can i do it myself, or is there an independent who can do it for me.

  My wife's Citroen C2 suddenly won't lock via the remote fobs. Batteries checked in both and fine. Tried doing the re-set which we found on the web no joy, fuse OK. Anything else you can suggest before yet another mortgage to take it to Citroen?
