1996 Citroen Xantia 1.9 diesel - Citroen Xantia steering - owen23

On our 1996 Xantia the steering sometimes goes heavy (including understeer), more so after starting it in the morning. We bought it in Nov last year with full service history, full service and with new spheres fitted 140,000 miles on the clock. The LHM level is fine, any anwsers please to solve this.

If the LHM filters are clean, and the aux belt is tight, then it probably needs a new pump.

A slipping pump belt can cause this, check the tension.
