  I think the front is as ugly as sin but I don't see that while driving it. Has no street cred - though this could be a good point?   Nissan too are offering what seems to be a good deal for a new model which I will investigate in the near future.

  Hi all, Im new to this forum and was just browsing for a bit of help with my problem, I hope someone can help. We got our car off my father in law a few weeks ago (Nissan Almera 1.5se 2004) , the day after we got it we drove 150 mile trip to my mums and the engine management  light came on after an hour of motorway driving but the car was showing no symptoms at all.

  Nissan x trail 2006. 130,000 miles Help!  Driving home a few days ago up a gradient when i noticed a sudden loss of power followed by clouds of white smoke coming from exhaust. Pulled over, turned off engine, steam from under bonnet then radiator 'exploded'.

  Hi folks, I'm after some advice. Just got my micra back from Nissan (£114 lighter!) and have been told I have a stretched timing chain. Going to be honest it means nothing to me! They said its 25mm rather than 10. Can anyone advise me what I should do now. The repair they have quoted £1300 and as the car is only worth £1000, so I don't want to do that.

   4 months later when my wife was on the motorway she got a low oil warning. It went to another Nissan dealer who topped up the oil and the original dealer apologised and covered the cost. Sadly the warantee on the car had expired before we got the same happening a few weeks later.  Since then the problem has got worse.

  I replaced the shackle bushes on the leaf springs but according to LDV the bushes at the front end of the springs are not available on their own and come in a new leaf spring! Nissan are useless and not interested in helping me but I cannot believe I have to throw away a pair of leaf springs for the sake of two rubber bushes. My old Hyundai van vas the same but only the rear bushes ever wore out which are easy to replace.

    My parents own a Nissan Pixo ntec automatic and have had it for just over a year.   About a fortnight ago they were driving in town and for some reason they could not go faster than 20 mph.
