PUG 06 Radiator 6 Aug 2001 (Forum)
I have a 97 R 106 Diesel, the radiator is now leaking. Is this a regular problem with 3 - 4 yr old cars, is this a 106 problem? Would it be difficult to change myself? Should I use Radweld? -

Toyota Auris - Old Corolla or Auris - such a dilemma!!! 7 Sep 2021 (Forum)
Hey all! I’m calling all first generation Auris owners out there, please!!! (Past and present) My poor old Avensis is dying and it’s time to replace him. I’m looking into either a 2006 Corolla or a 2007+ Auris. My budget is less than £2,000 thanks to Covid decimating my finances. According to reviews, both motoring writers and users, the Auris is a potentially problematic car ... oil guzzling, parts failing catastrophes. -
any - Taxi Drivers 7 Mar 2016 (Forum)
Local facebook (where the cctv was uploaded) identified the taxi firm - and within a few hours the firm's proprietors had contacted the victim. After a bit of shenanigans, the firm paid for the repairs, courtesy car, etc. Old Bill were not in the slightest bit interested in this (seems clear to me) offence. 2. Driver of liveried taxi minibus. tailgating, wrong lane at roundabouts (dangerously undercutting), on hand-held phone and at some points on TWO phones (one in each hand) and steering with knees. -
Oops,I think that I've used an old V5 form! Help! 12 Oct 2013 (Forum)
I've just sold my car for scrap on the Friday just gone. I found the V5 form beforehand in my car file, so filled out the relevant section, gave it to the scrap dealer, who filled out his section. He took his bit away and left me my section so I can send it to the DVLA, which I was planning on sending to them first thing on Monday to notify them on the change of ownership. -

MTV's Pimp My Ride 26 Aug 2005 (Forum)
Anyone else ever watched this ? If not, it's like a makeover show for cars. They take someone's battered old banger and turn it into basically a drug dealers car with 18" chrome alloys, jazzy paint job and half a dozen lcd screens. Then for good measure they usually stick an impossibly loud stereo in it !!! -

jersey import 13 Sep 2003 (Forum)
considering buying a 2 yr old car from the ci. the deal is that the car will be delivered to a 'sister' garage on the south coast, vat & transportation paid, but not the cost of re-registering. aware that a certificate of orginality is required, but do any of you knowledgable chaps know any other requirements or pitfalls before signing on the dotted line.
