  Over the log piles, up the big hump, into the stream (now a river) everywhere. It was fabulous fun. The car. Well what can one say. this is the car clarkson drove up the mountain in scotland. you can see how it did it. It has full automatic traction control (using abs to brake individual spinning wheels with no grip) fully automatic front, centre and rear diff locks, fully automatic hill descent, auto gearbox (locked in low range).

  I can well see why the owner reviews on Parkers are so positive. If I could improve it, id prob add a centre armrest in the front and some cruise control would be good. Other than that it is a great tool with excellent backup.

  my volvo s40 has red warning light on dash saying PASSENGER DOOR OPEN when the door is shut. Button pops back up when car tries to auto lock as i pull away. the doors will shut when key is out of ignition The passenger mirror does not function either, no heat, no movement and no indicator. I am hoping that someone may have come across this issue

  Constantly blowing out hot air from drivers side air outlet underneath the stearing wheel. All fans and air con are off but it is constantly blowing out hot air. Car is not over heating and engine coolant is filled correct levels. Please help as it is driving me mad. And need to know if it is major and safe to drive.

  Hi I recently bought this car and went over a speed bump after this all the elactrics to the centre console stopped working.  Ive checked the fuses there fine, now the heating, SAt Nav, Stereo have stopped working. It does however blow very cold air out after a few moments of driving.

  Hi Guys, my partners Fiesta has a rattle from the rear end had a quick look it appears to be the heat sheild above the silencer box is loose i did not have the car jacked so i could not see what secured this sheild, can anyone tell me how it is secured and would i need to purchase any parts before before repairing. thanks in advance for any help  Toshtwo  
• Citroen Xsara 1.4 - Citroen Xsara temp light and stop lamp 5 Oct 2011 (Forum)
  I seem to have a problem with the temp light and stop lamp coming on when the temprature reaches 90 degrees. The car is not pressurising and it is not over heating. I have changed both the sender units although when I replaced the one on the side of the head no water came out, not sure if that is correct or not.

  Hi All Today when riving my car I noticed LOADS of white smoke, it didnt stop all the way to or from my 10 mile trip :( I have no over-heating, no loss of power,no loss of water, no mixing of oil and water, no irratic idleing so am confused!

  Hi, the four speed fan for heat and A/C has ceased to work on it's first 3 speeds the 4th speed blasts away merrily. But, when trying the fan on the first 3 speeds.with the engine running the car engine speeds up slightly - it's as if power is being drawn.Also, the A/C will come on on the dead speeds.

  The car starts fine in the morning but after a minute or two the revs die away and it cuts out, starts again fine but again after a couple of minutes it dies again. Its only when theres a bit of heat in the engine that it runs ok.

  My 1999 Rover 414, 47k miles, not driven particularly had has developed an intermittent whistle / screech. It comes from the front offside when going around a bend at 30 to 40 mph ish. The front brake pads were changed 10k miles ago (11 months ago). Could it be a wheel bearing on the way out? The car was my fathers so everything is original except the tyres, exhaust & front pads.

  I bought my 54 plate Alfa GT 3.2 V6 from a dealer some distance away because there aren't may of these cars for sale. It was bought at the begining of December supposedly in good condition with everything working and 3 month mechanical warrenty, I test drove it and things seemed ok. It was pointed out to me that the front bumper had been resprayed and I am fine with that, however a few days after buying I checked the coolant level and it was down so I topped it up and things seemed ok (I work from home and don't actually use it much).

  When it was necessary to display a tax disc on your windscreen it was illegal to show an out-of-date disc. Since the change in the law whereby a tax disc does not have to be shown, is it still illegal to have an out-of-disc. e.g. the last one you purchased before the changes?
• Condensation on windows overnight 7 Dec 2008 (Forum)
  Windows on wifes Focus keep misting up overnight. Sometimes quite badly (i.e. running down the windscreen). In the cold weather, they're misted up within an hour of parking. When driving, no problem. Tried leaving aircon on and tried leaving it off - makes no difference. Carpets, seats, etc all bone dry.

  have traces it to a small black match box sized box in the far top right corner (right under the corner of windscreen. Any ideas on what this is? Thanks for your help, dave
• Ford Focus Est - Rear screen washer leak 6 Jan 2006 (Forum)
  Can anyone help me with fixing a rear screen washer leak. Water is leaking through the vent holes of the internal rear trim between reaqr windscreen and side panels of my estate. I don't see any means of easily removing this to see what the problem is. Any help appreciated. Thanks.

  The FAQ mentions professional repair of scratched windscreens. Has anyone attempted this for themselves? Mine only has fine wiper marks on it, but these are noticeable in bright sunshine (I seem to remember!) and it would be nice to be able to polish them out.

  Just started to leave the poor thing out in the rain and find when turning right I get a bootful of water out of the footwell air vent. The passenger gets it when I turn left. The water is not out of the windscreen wash reservoir - any suggestions (apart from wearing wellies or driving in a straight line)or similar experiences. Ron Y
