Ford Fiesta mk6 2007 - Rattle - toshtwo
Hi Guys, my partners Fiesta has a rattle from the rear end had a quick look it appears to be the heat sheild above the silencer box is loose i did not have the car jacked so i could not see what secured this sheild, can anyone tell me how it is secured and would i need to purchase any parts before before repairing. thanks in advance for any help Toshtwo

I would suspect the heatsheild retaining spire nuts have come off/rusted away.Buy them from main dealer ,they are not expensive.If the hole in the heatsheild has become too large or damaged ,then you can cut up a piece of scrap metal to make a repair washer.hth
