Ford S-MAX 1.8TDCi - Flat Battery After New Pads And Discs Fitted 30 Aug 2011 (Forum)
After replacing the front discs and pads, a few days later the battery was completely discharged. After recharging and reconnecting the battery I noticed that a motor was running. I traced this to the ABS pump motor, this was confirmed by removing the 40amp fuse protecting that circuit, Any ideas what has caused the ABS pump to continue running even when the key is not in the ignition, has it anything to do with the replacing the front discs and pads? -

ford galaxy - problems starting ford galaxy 18 Apr 2011 (Forum)
I am having problems starting my Ford Galaxy. It starts great first time with jump cables and runs ok. As soon as you turn the engine off and try and restart it turns over a little bit but doesn't restart. There is no battery light lit so it appears the alternator is ok and I have cleaned all the battery contacts and the earth and it is still the same, When started the car was run for 20 or so miles yet it wouldn't restart when the ignition was turned off. -

the alternator on my ford ka doesnt seem to be charging. i put a multi meter across the battery when the engine was running and it read 11.82 as it did when the car wasnt running. is this just a straight forward alternator swap or could it be something else. i dont want to take the part off if it could be something like a relay or fuse somewhere. does it need to go on a computer???? -

Peugeot 306 (1993 - 2001) - 98 1.9td engine temp 10 Aug 2008 (Forum)
Just bought a 1998 306 Turbo diesel. Runs fine, good power but am a bit concerned that the engine temp seems a bit cool. Have looked at forum before and 80 - 85 seems a good temp but mine is running at more like 70 when fully warmed up.. Should this be a cause for concern, should I attend to it would it cause low MPG or anything worse. -
Jogger on roundabout. 10 Aug 2008 (Forum)
I know that a jogger is effectively a cyclist without a bicycle, but when I'm a pedestrian I'd never dream of re-classifying myself as a vehicle and walking/running in the carriageway, unless there was no footway to use. -
