  Last year I had my bumper cracked by a van hitting me but as the other party's insurance company paid I didn't receive any documentation, I went back to the company that did the work and they eventually sent me a copy of the invoice. Then last week a lorry thew up a stone which broke my windscreen, we had windscreen cover with a £75 excess. My wife asked the autoglass mechanic what the cost of the repair was that she should put in for future quotes and he told her £75, she said this was the excess and not the cost of the repair but he said he didn't know how much the repair was but it was only the £75 that she needed.

  After we jumped it it was ok until the next day when I flashed a car and it died and I rolled to a stop. We have had the battery changed and is now 12.4v and 14.4v but as soon as the heated front screen turns on it drops drimaticly and the charging light comes on again.

  I called {windscreen repair company} to arrange a chip (garden pea in size with two several small cracks either side). They explained that the engineer would come out and assess it chip and advise if a repair or replacement was necessary.

  Hi John, I have a problem with my fiesta it's over heating and pressurising I've changed the thermostat flushed all the pipes, heater matrix, radiator but to no avail. All hoses are very hot apart from botton hose which is cold not sure if head gasket has gone as showing none of the signs !!!!!

  I have a F Reg Peugeot 205 GR the horn and rear heated window no longer work, I have replaced the relay, checked the fuses and tried to test wire but I cannot find were they plug into the fuse board. Can some body send me a picture showing which connections I need to test or tell me were the connections are.

  I have a Citroen Saxo 1.1 Forte 2002 and the heated rear window does not work. It's not the fuses as I've checked those out. Blower continues to work, so probably not ignition switch problem? (Read that on other sites). No PAS on this model. Light comes on when pushing the button on the dash, but mist does not clear.

  I have a Vouxhall Omega M reg 2.5 V6 cdx. I have a dual heating controls which blow luke warm air even when it is on hot. I also hear a hissing (vacume controls air leaking) inside the dashboard behind the heater controls. I have checked all vacume pipes and they are connected.

  Hi My heated rear window has been getting slow over winter, and has not packed up! I'm trying to replace the feed wire that goes between the tailgate and the body. I've taken the plastic cover off that runs up the inside of the pillar, only to find solid metal underneath!

  Valve opens to cold but will not switch to hot, have tried two different valves any ideas? Car runs fine with no over heating to engine etc.

  I have had a problem with the heater not working on my car. All the lights work and the buttons. The pipes under the bonnet Freeze when aircon is on, but nothing comes out inside the car.  I can't see through the windscreen, PLEASE HELP

  Also the eletric window switch is broken and it comes off each time i try to put the window up and down it comes off so i need to rest it on top. So would i need to buy that part aswell or can i just glue it? I am new to cars and not sure about how these things work so any help would be much appreciated.   Many Thanks Jagz
