Vauxhall Astra H - Windscreen wiper - astra041.7

I have got Astra 2004 1.7 cdti lite but I have to fill up the screenwash bottle nearly every 2 days and the water runs out pretty much every second day. What is that i should do? Tried looking for a bottle online and couldnt find it. Also what will be the size of the window wiper blades and I am not even sure if its an aero blade or not. Also the eletric window switch is broken and it comes off each time i try to put the window up and down it comes off so i need to rest it on top. So would i need to buy that part aswell or can i just glue it? I am new to cars and not sure about how these things work so any help would be much appreciated.

But IIRC the rubber seal round the pump motor can become displaced leading to leakage - if you take the bottle out and fill it with water you may see the problem.

You may be able to glue the switch with superglue but be careful not to get it in the pivot otherwise you are really stuck (sorry)

Your local accessory shop (or Halfords but you will pay more) should be able to sort out the wiper blade

I had a look on ebay earlier and was planning to buy these blades but wasnt sure.

Also thanks for the link for those switches and m not sure if they are worth £50, i will have a wee swatch at a scrappy for them first and if no luck come back to this again.

Also what is the difference in astra MK4 and MK5?

I was looking at those bottles and i remembered that the one i have got in ym motor is oval in shape and not round and i dont know what the bottles look like from inside? Is there any way i can find it out that what i need to go for as in this link there are 2 kinds one a white twisty bottle and the other one black long straight one? so m kinda confused there too.

Sorry no idea, perhaps you could ask your friendly dealer what the part number is?
