  • C4 3 Nov 2004 (Forum)
I have just checked the engine/transmission options for the C4 on the Citroen website and I am very disappointed to see there is no diesel automatic. These are now becoming more and more common in new cars these days and it is surprising for Citroen not to offer an auto transmission with the diesel engines in this car, as they are available with the C5 and Peugeot 407.

  • Renault Scenic v Citroen C4 Grand Picasso compared 30 Aug 2009 (Forum)
The huge windscreen on the Picasso is great, really brightening up the cabin. The seats on the Picasso are also better. Both had stacks of room in the rear but the Citroen was roomier and I could fit in all seats (all 6'1" of me). ON THE ROAD The two cars are very similar as far as road-holding and suspension are concerned - but the Citroen has a slight edge on comfort.
  • Citroen C5x - Missing Certificate of Conformity 13 Oct 2023 (Forum)
They showed me a CofC for another car and the certificate states the car is a ‘Stellantis’ model, not Citroen. I definitely would have noticed that if I had ever had sight of my CofC.   The problem now is that any CofC that is issued will show “Duplicate”. I want the original.

  • Citroen Xsara - Citoren Xsara 1.6 Front wheel noise 20 Nov 2015 (Forum)
I have Citroen Xsara 1.6 model 2000. For past few months there is strange noise coming from the front wheel. The noise increases with the car's speed and when I turn left while the noise fades away, while if I turn to the right the sound continues.
  • Citroen C4 VTR+ HDi 5 door - Long high speed cruises, comfort and not too wide 5 May 2015 (Forum)
We have a 2007 Citroen C4 VTR+ HDi hatchback, and cover about 15,000 miles a year, but half of that is done in 13 hour high cruise speed motorway blasts to and from the south of France on autoroutes - 750 miles a day on 10 days each year.
  • Citroen C4 - Mileage on MOT Certificate wrong 2 Feb 2015 (Forum)
I'm selling my Mum's car for her - a Citroen. It had a new battery fitted last year, which apparently caused the odometer etc to go from miles to Kilometers. She did not notice, and, when the local dealership MOT'd the car in September, they didn't notice, and they put in the km mileage, some 20,000 higher than it should have been!
  • Citroen C4 - C4 foglights with mind of their own... 11 Oct 2014 (Forum)
Hello people I have a 2006 Citroen C4 1.6HDi. A few times recently when the headlights are on, the fof lights have come on of their own accord, usually the fronts, but the backs have done it too. They can either come on and stay on, or flicker on and off.
  • Citroen Berlingo Multispace 1.6 VTi Petrol - Cooling system problems 24 Sep 2014 (Forum)
The car is booked in for another warranty visit to investigate this, but my question is, has the forum members had experience with this problem with the VTi petrol engine, or Citroen temperature sensors or themostats in general.       Cheers, Sumpnut.
  • citroen zsara picasso 1.8 petrol 03 - interchangeable car parts 9 Jan 2014 (Forum)
Basically i`m in need of a window regulator for a zsara picasso 1.8 petrol 03 and there aren`t any in my local breaker yards. I know from previous experience that picasso parts aren`t exclusive to citroen cars but I can`t exactly strip down every car till i find the same part. If anyone could point me in the right direction to some where that list what carsd use the same parts i would be very grateful. cheers.

Hi. I have it would appear a faulty parking sensor. To buy from citroen £75+, online £20-30. Does anyone have any experience of these cheaper sensors, they have all the right details inscribed on them, part numbers, bosch made in spain etc etc. Unfortunately, also online you seem the same sort of thing offered for sale (bulk) from china.
  • Citroen Berlingo Multispace - Poor MPG from Berlingo 2.0 HDI 18 Jul 2011 (Forum)
Hi all, I have recently purchaced a Citroen Belingo 2.0 HDI 2003 77,000mls. It had it's last service (done before I got the car) about 6 months ago (4,000mls). It starts and runs great but i have done a tank to tank MPG check and found it is only doing 37 mpg, I was expecting high 40s.
  • Alfa, Volvo, Citroen, Peugeot - I- Spy new cars 27 Feb 2011 (Forum)
Whereas in France this week I saw the new Peugeot 508 - nice from the front, ungainly from the rear I thought - and the new Citroen C4, which looked quite nice, which in the sector it belongs doesn't seem enough.
  • Citroen C3 (2002 - 2009) - 05 1.4 converting from french to uk 8 Feb 2010 (Forum)
Uk garages are telling me I need new headlamps, fog-light, reversing light (or expensive wiring conversion for the rears). But french authorized citroen garage told me that it's a simple matter of adjustment. kph to mph should be easy on the menu, but garages are telling me it might be more complicated. Also, dvla say I need a coc (£100) or inspection cert (£199), but some garages are saying that c3 has a 'blanket' european conformity and so doesn't need one.
  • Citroen C5 (2001 - 2008) - 01 2.2HDi Door lock mechanism. 6 Feb 2010 (Forum)
At first it was an intermittent problem but then it wouldn't work at all. It had been like this for three weeks at least and today it was taken to the local Citroen dealership, to undergo a diagnostic check to identify the problem. They reported that no fault could be identified and the door was unlocking with the remote control. Is it possible that the diagnostic check equipment cured the problem?
