Citroen C3 Picasso - sudden power steering failure at speed 8 Oct 2021 (Forum)
during this week suffered sudden steering failure on above vehicle , towed to garage confirmed electric steering motor failure, now it seems this component failure is a problem across the PSA Group and Citroen will replace free of charge , so far so good ,..now the main dealer wants to charge me £380 because they cant undo the bolts and need to remove a subframe to complete the work, any advice as to where i stand as i really dont see why a fully equipped workshop cannot complete the job how it should be done and see fit the charge me additional cost for what is basically incompetence -
Renault Zoe and Citroen - Expensive EV repairs 23 May 2021 (Forum)
Rip off Britain featured two owners who were quoted £7k and £6k by main dealers to fix their EVs. Citroen has its technical centre in Romania and diagnosed over the phone as the bill went up to change part after part to fix the non start. Eventually the owners withdrew their vehicles from the dealers and took them to an EV specialist in Cheltenham which I believe is Cleevely EVs and got them fixed for £1200. -

Hi there, I've just received a 2017 Citroen Berlingo Multispace, Diesel Automatic. 15k miles. On doing a short test drive, the one thing that stood out to me were the very obvious gear shifts. I don't feel the shifts much at all in my previous Ford Focus Petrol Automatic. -
Citroen C3 - Trouble starting and resetting date/time 1 Nov 2018 (Forum)
I have just purchased a second hand Citroen C3, 5dr VTR+ 61 plate and I am now experiencing problems when I start it. It's almost as if it momentarily disconnects from the battery, and it then starts, but my time and date have reset and my windscreen wipers go up and down just for one cycle and then it automatically locks the doors. -

Citroen C5 - Which car £3000 25 Aug 2016 (Forum)
I'm looking at a saloon style vehicle due to my growing family and pref desiel due to the 70 mile round trip down the motorway to work. The two cars that have my eye at the moment are the Citroen C5 and a Passat. My only concern being is that at this price they easily have over 80k in mileage. Do you feel its worth buying one with such a high millage or should I look around for a alternative? -
Adviser Citroen C5 two types gearbox 28 Dec 2015 (Forum)
I am looking for used Citroen C5 2.2HDI 136 VTR hatchback which is average 44mpg, but I did not know that later model 2003-2004 add 6 speed gear. I though it will improve the mpg and cruise on motorway better so I have been search on C5 specifications try to find out how many extra mpg, performance and road tax but all info on both gears are the same. -
Ds3 - Citroen car leasing 6 Oct 2015 (Forum)
They tried to insist I had an Mot before it was collected despite not needing one for 2 months. Had the alloys repaired due to a couple of scratches and they said the repair wasn't up to Citroen approved standard so want £130. They failed to collect the car from the dealership but left it there uninsured for a week before anyone contacted me. They said the tyre tred was 1/10 th of a mm below the legal limit so made me replace two front tyres and then charge me £150 for a failed collection. -
Citroen Grand C4 Picasso 2014 VTR - rails/bars? 5 Jun 2014 (Forum)
I'm considering the base spec (VTR) as it seems like a good price at the moment. The Citroen brochure appears to indicate that roof rails are not included in the VTR and VTR+ spec level, although I may be misreading it. Thank you, Gary. -

Hi, I bought this car (Citroen C4 Picasso 1.6hdi vtr+) 2 weeks ago from Arnold Clark Northwich its a 57 plate picasso with 39000 miles on the clock and I have noticed a chirping sound like the cam belt maybe slipping. Hi, my daughter drives a 55 plate Citroen C3. She managed to stop and called the AA who fiddled around checked a few things but couldn't find anything wrong. -
Citroen Berlingo Multispace 1.9 DW8 - 400 miles to a tank 8 Jan 2012 (Forum)
It could be any one of a number of things, so I just wondered if anyone knew a really good Citroen diesel place (Near Surrey preferably but not essential) Other than that it's a great little motor. Uses no oil and sounds as healthy as a diesel should. -
Citroen relay 2007 - Missfire at idle/Diesel Knock 7 Nov 2011 (Forum)
I have a citroen relay 2.2 hdi 2007, and when cold i start it as normal and it starts immediatly every time, however the van has a missfire at idle only when cold, it clears as i increase the revs to say above 1500rpm, once warm its totally gone even at idle, the van pulls well, also regardless whether its hot or cold on idle i have a Diesel knock which to me seems louder that usual, has anyone got any ideas what may be causing this? -
