  We have a new shape Megane dci 1.5 100 bhp. This is our fourth Renault and first diesel and so far we are very pleased with it. At the weekend I was busy washing it and noticed on the door pillar a sticker detailing what options are fitted, for example the Comfort Pack.

  Three kids have forced MPV time, as we need seven seats. I've narrowed it down to either a new Citroen C8 HDi Exclusive Diesel Auto or a nearly new Renault Grand Espace 2.2 Privilege Auto with a budget of around £22. We intend to keep the car for a long time. The C8 seems to lack the interior quality of the Renault, and I've no experience of long term reliability of either.
• Renault Clio II (1998 - 2001) - Electrical system warning light 2 May 2002 (Forum)
  Okay the warning light for an electrical fault came on in my new shape Renault Clio. 1.2 16v. Anyone know a likely suspect for the cause. I cannot for the life of me find anything electrical that is not working. It has been very damp recently and i was wondering if that could cause it to give a false reading.

  Hi, No local Renault dealers have been able to help with this really simple question - hope some of you guys can - on the latest shape Megane (or I guess Scenic) where on earth is the Remote Locking Sensor? The one garage that did have a stab at suggesting its location said up by the interior light on the roof console - where it was in the older models but its Not there!

  I have replaced the radiator on a friends 2.1D engined car. Is there a specific Antifreeze and or ratio I should refill the system with? Many Thanks

• Renault Captur - A few days with a Renault Captur 29 Jul 2019 (Forum)
  Recently I needed a hire car for a short trip to Devon and was allocated a Renault Captur 0.9 petrol. As I’m used to a Focus I was a bit concerned whether it would be big enough but it managed well. On opening up the rear doors I thought it’s a bit cramped in there for adults.
• Renault Modus - ECUs blown after jump start attempt 19 Oct 2017 (Forum)
   The garage were asked if they tried to jump start the car - the garage owner replied "it's a Renault and we NEVER do that as it can blow the ECUs" - my sil then confirmed to them that the roadside assitance company had tried this initially....... It now appears the the roadside assistance company have blow all the major ECUs in the car by attempting a jump start - the independent Renault garage reckon the cost to replace and reprogramme all the necessary electronic components will be around the £2k mark - just about what the car is worth.
