• Nissan Micra 2006 - 2006 Nissan Micra, Brand New Battery Flat 4 Jan 2011 (Forum)
  2006 Nissan Micra (new Shape) Battery went flat over christmas whilst parked up for 1 week,  called AA Homestart,  engineer installed brand new battery (charged up) left car for a further week (not driven at all) and battery totally dead, anyone else had this before I call AA again?

  i have  a 1.0 litre auto l regd nissan micra that lost accelaration when i was driving the started to do a kangaroo hopping motion the rac towed me to a garage who told me the cat could be blocked so had a whole new exhaust  but it is still doing it will drive fine when cold but when warm does exactly the same thing again

  I'm considering changing my car for either a Nissan Qashqai or Hyundai Tucson.  I had A Tucson a few years ago, 54 plate and loved it, except for the running costs, petrol /Road tax. I see the newer ones are more economical 16 plate.

  I'm going to buy a new car soon, so I'd like you to share your opinion on the following matter: what is better - a 5 years old Nissan Qashkai or a 10 year old BMW X5? I mean, what would you buy for roughly the same price? Nissan for £12500 or BMW for £10000.   I presume that parts for BMW would be more expensive.

    Whole episode so far has knocked my confidence in Nissan vehicles to the point that I may probably never buy one of these makes again.   Before I go off on a tangent to Nissan, complaining about engines that don't make the grade, has anybody else had a similar episode with this engine, mileage the engine expired and the resolution with Nissan?

  When vehicle is stood ticking over, it looses all power and wont rev at all. Once turned of and started again it runs fine! Does anybody have an idea...

  Being the proud uncle of James, my entire family is investing in child seats. My mum and dad have a (03 model) Nissan Almera, and they have found it impossible to get a child seat to fit. I can't find anything on the Nissan website.. anyone got any advice?

  Our 4month old Nissan Juke rs has cracked/bubbled paintwork on the center console. We have been fobbed off twice now by Nissan and both times have said “either a drink has spilt out of the cup holder or an air freshener has reacted with the paint.

  Twitter on fire tonight as a German auto magazine is reporting that Nissan is set to announce the closure of the Sunderland plant? FWIW, I import from Germany (for the past 26 years) and I've found out today that the minimum charge I will face to make an import from 1st Jan is £55 per shipment, (I will have to make import declarations by law, whether there is any additional duty to pay or not).

  My Nissan dealer has sent photos of the affected areas to Nissan who say it is stone damage and are not interested. I genuinely think this is a copout and the paintwork is not fit for purpose. In view of the age of the car do I have any recourse?

    There was a fix in that you could buy a floor panel section and have welded in. Just learnt that daughters X Trail (Nissan O4) the rear floor panel is suffering badly with rust.  Cannot seem to find a similar solution panel on the Web. Any information guys.   dvd

  Hi, I'm trying to find the manual gearbox oil spec for my 2002 Nissan Almera 1.8 and was wondering if anyone had any idea? I've seen 75W-80 mentioned on the web, Opie Oils say it's an MTF oil that's required and my main dealer say it's 75W-90. I'm a bit confused!
