  i have an audi a4 2004 1.8t that i recently bought, the car has a misfire on cylinder 2  so i replaced the coilpack and the problem went away but only when the car is static, asin not moving and engine running it has no misfire but when you put the car under load after 2000rpm cylinder 2 has a dead misfire, no stuttering or hesitation just goes completly dead, i have ruled out that its not the piston rings as it dosnt smoke i would need to do a compresion test to confirm but im pretty confident it isnt that i know its not a stuck valve as its not constant its only under hard acceleration, i have replaced the coil packs and spark plugs also i checked the coil wires that sit above the exhaust as they are known for splitting due to the heat of the exhaust, cylinder 2 had 2 wires that had the outer case breaking away but not damaged the wire to what i could see so i eletrical taped them to see if the problem persists, which it did. is it the wires that are causing me the misfire, is there damage that i cant see thats caused by the heat and the wires actually need repairing

  Hi, first time posting a car forum so hoping somebody can help. My Audi A3 indicators and wipers stopped working today with no previous issue. I checked the fuses and there was no problem there. I then checked online and seen somebody suggest the remove and clean of the steering control module fuse (marked 100 in the fusebox).

  Audi are incentivising HP with 2 years warranty and servicing, Mercedes are not offering any incentive for HP. Both cars are used approved with the usual 1 year warranty. I expect to do very high mileage approx 30k p/a My question is; is the extra APR and therefore interest worth the extra year warranty at Audi compared to buying cash?

  Hi Guys, If anyone can help me on this I'd much appreciate it. I ordered a new audi in November, I was told it wouldnt be delivered until end of Jan. and we agreed I woudn't take it until March for the new reg. I have just been told that the car has been built earlier than planned and is already in the UK.

  Hi, would appreciate a rough valuation from you guys as to how much my audi a4 is worth as it's going to be sold as im no longer doing the mileage to justify it so have bought a bmw project instead. 1998 S Audi A4 1.9 TDi Base model 90bhp AHU Engine 119000 Miles FSH, mostly dealer then audi specialist 6 Months Tax, 12 Months Mot 18 inch RS4 Wheels, New Tyres All Round CD Player Blue/purple metalic paint grey cloth interior good condition, no marks stains, i don't smoke Work Done In Last 6 months New brake pads front and rear All tyres replaced new coolant temperature sensor new battery new drivers side cv boot service with new fuel, air, oil filters fitted Good condition all round, only advisories on mot were insecure battery, cracked windowscreen(new screen fitted), very slight play in drivers balljoint and theres a small trolley ding in drivers side rear door. only other downside is cambelt will be due at around 125k, and it will have an oil change done before sale as it's coming up to six months cheers chris

  In May 2002 I bought a new Audi A4. For the last 10 weeks, it has been sat in my local Audi dealer's compound awaiting a new ignition coil. This is the second time the fault has happened (on the first occasion a new coil was fitted at the road side).
