  I recently had my air con regassed at Kwik Fit,  as it was running cool - not freezing cold as I am used to. It has only been three months and the air con is again running cool and takes ages to 'cool'  the car.  I have checked frequently for leaks and found none.

  I have a 530D saloon with 90,000 on the clock. Just recently it has started to feel lumpy at tickover, but only on occasions. It runs fine under power, but when stopped and idling feels like it is running on 5 Cyls instead of 6 - can anyone help???

  Running 05 Galaxy diesel, on taxi runs, problem with intermittent leaks into drivers side foot well, gets so bad driver may develop trench foot. Then nothing for few weeks, then flooding again. Help. Cannot trace leak as yet, any ideas

  Have looked at the pros and cons on HJ, only 2mpg difference between the small engine and the 4.0. Anyone run one of these on a day to day basis? What is the reality in running one, mpg not too important.

  Car was running fine I stopped and fueled up ,car restarted and ran for a few seconds ,stopped and will now turnover but will not run.Could it be the in tank pump ?Are there any pressure checks I could make to test the pump,or am I looking in the wrong place.I can hear the pump run on ignition arming.

  The rear washer has stopped working ... the fronts ok but nothing at rear .. have looked at the tubing running up the corner post and there seems to be water there but nothing at nozzle... pump seems to be running ok .. any ideas adam {year of car, etc picked up from a previous post of yours}

  Hi all. I've got a 2.2 dti vectra 2001. Most mornings when i come to start it, it kicks in immediatly runs for 5 seconds then stalls. It then takes ages to start. I'm sick of spending on it . Can anyone offer any ideas. I've already changed the spill pipes/t pieces, injector seals, fuel filter housing. I'm running out of ideas please help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  Following a top end rebuild on my Astra 1.8 sxi as a result of the water pump failing causing valve damage etc, it now has difficulty in starting. Once started it runs fine. The mechanic states there is a loss of compression on starting which should rectify itself once the valves have run in and built up a layer of carbon etc. Is he correct or am I on a loser.

  When I try and start the car cold with no throttle it fires and dies, the same happens when I use a little throttle. When it eventually does start and try to accelerate it also stalls. I have to leave the car running for a minute before pulling away otherwiae the engine stalls. The car runs fine when warm. Any ideas?

  Bit of a techy question here. The TDC sensor has 2 wires running to it, I need to find out how much voltage should be running through these wires, I know one will be a pulse signal from brushing with the flywheel, is the other a +12v when ignition on? Both wires on mine are registering 0v with engine on or off.

  First start when cold, it starts with the turn of the key, then starts chugging and dies out. You have to repeat this starting and it dies out each time for about 4 goes before it will stay running and then it chugs for while and after that it runs ok. All plugs appear to be burning nicely.
