  My car was stolen from the drive last week, broke into the house, found the keys and away when we were on holiday. We are going to give a pole a go, one of those that folds up and down. I know nothing really stops thefts completely but making stealing yours a hassle hopefully makes them look elsewhere.

  I've got a 09 plate Ford fiesta. I've put on 2-3 pairs of cheap wheeltrims over the years but they always fall off. Don't want to drive around without them but don't want to keep spending money on useless products. Can anyone recommend some good, relatively cheap ones that may last? Or just generally trips for securing them well

  At this time of year thoughts turn to summer holidays, and one idea my wife and I have for a few weeks away in the summer, probably early September, is driving the North Coast 500 in our Mini convertible. We’ve seen a few packages offered by various firms, which seem reasonable value, but does anyone have any experience or ideas about the best way to do this trip?

  One of the front fog lights has a broken glass cover although the bulb still works. Is it legal to drive it with broken glass cover?   Thanks Kevin M

  Fan unexpectedly comes on after about 10 mins light driving. - Not leaking coolant. No warning lights shown. - Return (bottom) hose from rad is very hot, hotter than the input (top) hose. - Started doing this after I replaced the battery.

  My spare is 195/65 R15 My other 3 are 205/55/ R16 I live 50 miles from my tire garage. Will I be alright to drive for a couple of days with one odd tire? Thanks in advance.

  Spec: 5 door, petrol, and automatic gearbox. She will commute only pick up n drop kids and drive to nearby shops with in the city.  All she needs is good looking car with big display inside like satnav. So please suggest some good reliable cars.

  Driving south on the M6 in Lancashire yesterday. Narrow lanes for bridge repairs, very clear signage, 50mph limit, average speed cameras (visible and signposted). Very obvious reasons for the speed limit.

  Can any one help I have a 2016 Astra 1.0t the car does not over heat but I have noticed the bottom hose stays stone cold all the time the top hose slowly gets hot and slowly moves accross the rad At has new rad and thermostat on bottom hose I have to drive around 80 miles to get the rad hot all over

  You get given a device with some headphones when you arrive to give a commentary as you walk round. There are some interesting cars! The only disappointment was that you can have a drive of some of the cars, but at the moment that’s only happening at the weekend.

  As far as I can tell, the reverse, brake and fog lights still work but even after replacing both rear light bulbs, they don\'t work. Any ideas before it gets dark again please? I can\'t avoid driving tonight. Thank you!

    Handy to get it off the road onto the verge on breakdown. Now I have automatic will the same apply if I select drive and press the start button? Dont want to try in case it is a NO NO and I cause damage, dvd

  tonight i left work car started fine drove 4 miles to local garage filled up with diesel jumped back into car went to start it and it was as flat. got it jumped all lights are as bright as a candle. started to drive it home then the stereo started to go on and off airbag light come on. is it the battery or the alternator.... its a 1.7td 1996 astra. please help me...

  If she changes the insurance for tomorrow (kicks in at 00.01 tomorrow morning) is she still covered to drive the car to collect her new one? I've tried contacting her insurers but it's all online and it takes 24 hrs for them to reply.   thanks alexsunny

  Looking at buying one used with a budget around 15k. thinking around 2017 2litre diesel because I do around 15 to 20,000 miles a year much on motorway and want a smaller estate for family. Any advice on engine size or model to go for appreciated for reliability and comfortable  drive, I am a pretty chilled driver. I am likely to run this  fforfat least 5 years upto around160k.

  I got a 21 day ticket to get them fixed today, got pulled over, as they were on when I was driving today. The light switch does not always stay pushed in, which seems to control these bumper lights   cheers

    Their comments are in response to the UK and their 2030 edit.  You really have to wonder what is "driving" this rush to be " clean"   The raw materials and how they are mined is another questionable area.

  Looking at both cars, around 2016 plate, less than 45000 miles and around £9000. Do about 12000 miles a year, with very little town driving. Looking at 1.6 diesels. Reading up, like all cars, there are reports of issues (308 adblue tank and pipes, Astra timing chain guides). Anybody driven both or have any opinions?

  Hello I’m after some help with my fiesta mk2 1986 1.1 popular 26000 miles The clutch seems fine not to soft Not to firm operates ok , the gear rod seems to move fine underneath, but no drive it’s a 4-speed manual, so when clutch put down , gears selected , and clutch up there’s no gears evident , need some help to get little fez back on the road

  2017 (17) MAZDA 3 2.0 SE-L Nav [Hatchback]   Just bought this^  -- 2 litre petrol engine, upgrading from a 2007 ford fiesta zetec diesel with 60 something BHP. This Mazda has 120, how different will it be to drive? Collecting saturday, really excited! :D
