  Highlights included £54,000 paid for a local one family owned 1969 Mercedes Benz 280SL 'Pagoda' automatic. £23,500 paid for a lovely 1958 Triumph TR3a with hard-top. And £20,500 for a top notch 1968 Daimler V8250. The 1960 Facel Vega HK500 bid to £95,000, but did not immediately sell (though negotiations were proceeding).

  Fully supporting the national celebration and charity initiative, Carole Nash is the only insurance broker who has reviewed its policies ahead of Friday and amended them to ensure that as many policy holders as possible are covered for commuter use on National Classic Car and Bike Day. The amended policy is automatically available to all Carole Nash car and motorcycle policyholders and will last for 24 hours starting 12.00am on Friday 4 April 2014. The seller is very honest about the car in the advert, spelling out that the interior's in one piece (good, as you try finding new bits), there's a long tax and ticket, and other than a few small blisters appearing, it's all in one piece.
