  Yesterday my front lights were flickering I noticed driving into work for a bit. Could it be connected and my battery? Car was bought from a Nissan dealer so it should have been checked when I bought it. The other thing is the milage I'm getting. Just done one full tank on a diesel engine and barely sc***ped 390 miles. My Clio with the same engine was on 520 miles.

  I have a 2003 Nissan Micra for a couple of years. It passed its MOT recently with flying colours, no problems, no advisements. Yesterday, when coming back from the shops, the car suddenly jerked as if the brakes had come on and i was sure I saw some lights on the control panel flash for a second.

  I have a 98 2.0 Nissan Primera which seems to be using a lot of oil. I has gone from max on the dipstick to min in just under 2000 miles. I average about 500 miles of mainly motorway driving a week. The car has a Nissan Approved warranty and when they looked at it they said they could find nothing obvious and filled it up and told me to check it after a 1000 miles.

    Hi folks, I'm hoping someone can help with a nightmare I've been having with my Nissan Primera P12 Petrol 1.8 car since the weather turned cold. The battery is fine and the engine actually turns over, but it just won't start and usually it takes anything up to 10 minutes to get it going.

  Hi, Hope someone can help me understand my car. I have an 04 nissan micra and recently had lots of problems with it. Most recently my car was cutting out as i was driving it. I've had a sensor on the cam shaft replaced which didn't solve the problem. Meanwhile i started to just not start first time, like it doesn't have enough power.

  My Nissan Almera (52 plate, n16 engine), has developed a noise, sort of like a whistly, woo-woo noise, sounds like it is coming from the front of the car, not sure where, as I can only hear it while driving.

  It's been recovered to a local garage, who have given me 3 options: (1) Have the car recovered to Nissan. They will do 2 hours of diagnostics (costing £200). There is no guarantee that I will be able to make any sort of claim against Nissan (and even if I can the diagnostics isn't refundable). Including the recovery, it is likely to cost £400 - £500 without any repairs.

  They called the next day to say the couldn't see a problem wthout taking the engine out and stripping it down - they said it would be £850 just to take engine out and then who knows - they suggested £2000 approx for the job if it was the turbo. I called Nissan Uk and they said they would take it in to the nearest branch which they did- they have the car in there now. I got a call yesterday afternoon to tell me it need a whole new engine!!! they said Nissan would offer a 'goodwill' gesture towards costs but I would still have to pay approx £6500!
