    But if it failed through corrosion then you should not have to pay anything at all because you brought it to the attention of the dealer while the car was still under warranty (and in any case you have a right to expect a radiator of an expensive car to last for more than three years). Law here: /faq/consumer-rights/   Slipped up I accidentally over-filled my son’s 1999 Clio 1.4 petrol/manual with gearbox oil by about half a litre. (The pipe I used to funnel it in doubled as a bung, preventing over-flow).
